This website was started with the intention of recommending and promoting TrillionFx, a forex fund management company. As of September 2013, my investment with them has suffered unacceptably high losses and I have decided to stop the investment. As such, I no longer recommend TrillionFx as a good investment. |
The Investment
In a nutshell, the investment is money which you allocate to a money manager. The money manager will use the money, and trade the forex market to make more money for you. The money manager takes a certain percentage of the profits that are made, and the rest goes to your pocket.
The Money Manager
TrillionFX is the money manager. It is a company incorporated in New Zealand and founded by a group of highly experienced fund managers from Sweden. TrillionFX specializes in trading the forex market. They started in 2009 and have been offering their services to individuals, private and institutional traders since.
How Profits are Made
The idea behind trading in the financial markets, in this case, the forex market, is to buy currencies at a low price and to sell them off at a higher price. It sounds quite easy in theory, but I'm sure you'd appreciate that it is quite difficult to put in practice as most financial traders are losing money. TrillionFX has a team of experienced fund managers, along with specialized software to aid in their trading, to give them a significant edge over the other traders in the market.
Expected Returns
Returns are not guaranteed but based on past performance, an average return of 40% to 50% or more per year can be expected based on a time frame of at least 6 to 12 months.
Is This a Scam?
In the preceding paragraphs, I have briefly outlined the details of the investment involved. At this point, many of you reading this are probably interested but cautious and skeptical. The returns for this investment are rather high and such high returns are typically associated with ponzis, pyramids and scams.
In fact, when I first heard about this from a friend, I was quite sure that she was unknowingly promoting a ponzi to me. It was after many questions, and doing some checking of my own, that I became convinced that this investment is legitimate. I put in some money and have made some money. Now, in addition to merely investing, I have also decided to promote this investment.
But, first things first, how did I conclude that this investment is not a scam?
